Welcome to the ADOT Scenic Roads Web Site!
While highways are designed for the efficient transport of people and their vehicles, they also serve as a link to the visual and historical environment. This link is so important that ADOT, per legislative mandate, has dedicated staff and funds to designate, inventory, and maintain the scenic roads and byways in this state.
This Web site is designed to help Arizona citizens participate in the designation, maintenance, and planning of scenic roads in this state.
