Installation of utility lines on State Route 89 on White Spar Road in Prescott is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 12 and continue for the next six months, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Utility work will require a single lane restriction near Hidden Valley Road to Copper Basin Road (mileposts 309 to 310) during work hours and delays of up to 10 minutes are expected. This work to relocate utility lines on White Spar Road in Prescott (State Route 89) is in advance of a roadway improvement project estimated to begin early next year.
ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zones with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
