In addition to ongoing concrete work, which is part of the first phase of the State Route 287 repaving project in Casa Grande crews will also work on replacing the gutter at the intersection of Florence Boulevard and Trekell Road. This will require Florence Boulevard to be narrowed at Trekell Road through early Thursday morning.
Also, as a reminder, driveways will re-open for access once crews replace the pavement. Please note that motorists may notice a slight bump when using the newly paved driveway. This bump is only temporary as additional work will be done in the coming weeks to complete them. While work is underway drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
- State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane in both directions at Trekell Road from 6 a.m. Monday (Aug. 20) to 6 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 23) for gutter work.
- Eastbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) and Interstate 10 from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 20) through Thursday (Aug. 23).
- Westbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between Interstate 10 and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 20) through Thursday (Aug. 23).
