Crews will begin concrete removal on State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) next week

Work scheduled to occur overnight in Casa Grande

On Monday, crews will begin the first phase of the State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) repaving project between I-10 and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue). The first phase will focus on concrete removal and replacement to improve current sidewalk ramps and installing new curb, gutter and sidewalk. Work will take place overnight and will begin at Peart Road. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:

  • State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane in both directions between Peart Road and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday, July 9 through Thursday (July 12).
