Final Striping Scheduled
Final striping is scheduled throughout the week during daytime hours. Striping will require lane restrictions, narrow lanes, and reduced speeds in areas where work is being performed. Motorists are advised to use caution through the project zone while final striping is performed.
The striping plan for the SR 89/SR 69 TI has been altered to aid drivers as they choose their lane for SR 89 Northbound or SR 69 Southbound at the Gurley Street and Sheldon Street intersection. The improved signage and striping plan includes pavement numbers, enhanced lane delineation, and additional signage. Motorists are advised to remain alert as drivers become accustomed to the new traffic configuration.
Work to Complete Traffic Interchange is Ongoing
With final paving activity finished, crews have begun work to complete the traffic interchange. This activity will include work throughout the project zone where needed. Motorists may experience lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and possible “rolling closures” through the project as work is performed
