Value Engineering Change Orders 
This is to alert the RE and designer of previously accepted Value Engineering Change Orders. Section 104.13(C)(2) of the Standard Specifications states that ideas used on past projects should not be considered as a Value Engineering Proposal – a change order may be executed but the contractor is not eligible for 50% of the savings.
