SYSTEM PRESERVATION-RESTORATION/REHAB/RESURFACE

The proposed project is located in Cochise County on I-10 approximately 5 miles east of San Simon. The project begins at milepost 384.15 and extends easterly to milepost 391.23. The work consists of removing the existing Asphaltic Concrete (AC) by milling and replacing it with new AC and Asphalt-Rubber Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course. Additional work includes upgrading the existing guardrail end treatments, removing concrete from a bridge deck and replacing it with microsilica modified concrete overlay, replacing pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work.
