SYSTEM PRESERVATION - RECONSTRUCTION

The proposed work is located in Mohave County on westbound I-40, approximately 11 miles east of Jct. SR 95. The Project begins at milepost 21.00 and ends at milepost 32.97. The proposed work consists of milling the existing Asphaltic Concrete (AC) and replacing it with new AC and Asphalt Rubber - Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course. Additional work includes reconstructing guardrail, replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals, reconstructing spillway and downdrain inlets, removing existing bridge rail and replacing it with bridge concrete barrier, replacing pavement markings, seeding, and other miscellaneous work.
