SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

**The proposed project is located in the Flagstaff District, Holbrook District and north half of the Globe District, which are within Gila, Coconino, Navajo, and Apache Counties. A portion of this project is located in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest and Coconino National Forest and also on the White Mountain Apache and Navajo Indian Communities. The work consists primarily of removing and disposing of existing pedestrian signal assemblies, and supplying and installing new countdown pedestrian signal assemblies. Additional work will include removing and replacing pedestrian push button assemblies on existing poles.
