SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

**The proposed project is located in the Yuma District, Kingman District and Prescott District, which are within Maricopa, Gila, Yuma, LaPaz, Mohave and Yavapai Counties. A portion of this project is located in Prescott National Forest and Tonto National Forest and also on the Colorado River, Fort Mojave and Yavapai-Prescott Indian Communities. The work consists primarily of removing and disposing of existing pedestrian signal modules from their housing, and supplying and installing new countdown pedestrian modules. Additional work will include removing and replacing pedestrian crossing signs and removing and replacing pedestrian push button assemblies on existing poles.
