SYSTEM PRESERVATION-RECONSTRUCTION

The proposed project is located in Pima County on Interstate 10 between mileposts 288.12 and 290.69, approximately 15 miles west of the City of Benson. The proposed work consists of widening the median, reconstructing the eastbound roadway, reconstructing the westbound roadway on new alignment, constructing two bridges, removing the existing Pantano Railroad Underpass Bridge, constructing sheet piling and bank protection in Cienega Creek, constructing a retaining wall, constructing new culverts and drainage basins, installing signing and striping, salvaging and replanting existing landscaping, and other related work.
