SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-OTHER ENHANCEMENTS

The proposed work is located in Coconino County on US 89A about five miles east of Jacob Lake from MP 572.33 to MP 574.74, within Kaibab National Forest. The project consists of improvements of drainage system by replacing existing pipe culverts with new pipe culverts, treatment at inlet and outlet of pipe culverts and erosion control. The work includes removal of existing pipe culverts, placing new pipe culverts ranging from 30 to 72 inches of diameters, treatment of pipe trenches after placing pipes with AB, AC and Fog Coat, placing headwalls, end sections, rip-rap, rock mulch and wattles, pavement marking, seeding, and other related work.
