Floyd was appointed as State Engineer in 2008 and has over 25 years of engineering experience, more than 16 years with ADOT in Roadway Engineering, Statewide Project Management, Valley Project Management Group, and appointed Deputy State Engineer for Valley Transportation Group in December 2007.  As Deputy Director for Policy, Floyd continues to  work with the State Transportation Board, the state's Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Councils of Government, Federal Highways Administration, and other agency stakeholders.
