Noise Policy
ADOT Noise Abatement Policy / Addendum
This policy is based on currently accepted practices and procedures
by federal and state transportation agencies to assess and mitigate
highway-related noise levels. This policy became effective on
December 5, 2005, and supersedes the previous Noise Abatement
Policy dated March 31, 2000. An addendum to the noise policy was
approved by the Federal Highway Administration on August 24, 2007.
