Leader's Guide to Issue Resolution
(One-Day Class) Issue Resolution is a key skill for leaders who seek to
build successful partnerships. This class is designed for those who are
responsible to lead others in identifying and resolving issues, and in
developing an issue resolution process.

Course Content:
Review
ways to lead their team through the process of identifying issues,
resolving issues and developing follow-up action plans.
Practice ways to lead their team through the process of identifying
issues, resolving issues and developing follow-up action plans
Identify ways to apply this process to everyday issues as well as those disruptive, "urgent" issues
Recognize the "Issue Resolution Process" as an effective and essential part of the any Partnering Program
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the components of a proactive leadership approach (i.e. basic
guidelines, behaviors and attitudes) toward issues identification,
resolution and action planning
- Review and
practice a process, with class members, for identifying and resolving
issues, to include action planning and follow-up
- Provide and receive feedback on team facilitation and issue resolution skills
- Develop a personal plan of action to use this "Issue Resolution Process" with your team
Prerequisites:
- Responsibility as team leader
- Facilitation skills experience or attend "Introduction to Facilitation" class
