PHOENIX — All westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near the State Route 51 interchange in Phoenix are back open after crews cleaned up the wreckage of a commercial truck that crashed early this morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The truck, which was carrying a load of coffee creamer, crashed onto its side along the right shoulder of westbound I-10 shortly after 1 a.m. Crews had to clean up a spill of the coffee creamer as well as some diesel fuel which leaked onto the freeway.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Drivers who normally use westbound I-10 had to use alternate routes while the freeway was closed, including northbound I-17.
