Maintenance work planned on US 60 and State Route 188

Globe, Arizona: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) says crews will be conducting pavement maintenance operations in the Globe, Superior and Roosevelt areas over the next several weeks.

An oil designed to preserve and rejuvenate the pavement will be applied on the following highway segments:

  • May 5 - 23 US 60 MP 225-228 in Superior
  • May 5 – 23 US 60 MP 239.5-243 between Top of the World and Miami
  • May 6 US 60 MP 260.3-264 in Globe
  • June 10 – 12 SR 188 MP 233-245 east of Roosevelt
  • June 23 – 26 SR 188 MP 245-256 at Roosevelt

A slurry seal will be applied to the following segment:

  • July 14 – 23 SR 188 MP 257-266 near Punkin Center

ADOT advises drivers to be alert for workers and equipment and obey all warning signs in the work zones.
