Construction Alert: Ramp Closures on I-19

Tucson, Arizona: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be resurfacing I-19 from Palo Parado Road to Ruby Road from Tuesday, May 6, through Friday, May 7. One lane of traffic will be open at all times and traffic should flow smoothly. As the road is resurfaced, appropriate exit ramps will be closed:

Tuesday, May 6: Northbound on and off ramps will be closed at Rio Rico Drive, from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists are advised to use Ruby Road exit ramps to the south or Peck Canyon Road exit ramps to the north.

Wednesday, May 7: Northbound on and off ramps will be closed at Peck Canyon Road from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists are advised to use Rio Rico Drive exit ramps to the south or Palo Parado exit ramps to the north.

Thursday, May 8: Northbound and southbound on and off ramps at Palo Parado Road will be closed from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists are advised to use Peck Canyon exit ramps to the south or Tumacacori exit ramps to the north.

Friday, May 9: Southbound on and off ramps at Peck Canyon Road will be closed from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists are advised to use the Rio Rico Drive exit ramps to the south.
Motorists are advised to watch for construction personnel and public safety officers and to obey all posted speed limit signs and detour routes while traveling through the construction area.
