Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. Through its member clubs, like Capitol Toastmasters, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.

Toastmasters clubs across the world have produced many renowned leaders, actors and athletes. Tim Allen (actor), Peter Coors (Coors Brewing Company), Chris Mathews (MSNBC, CNBC) , and Billie Jean King (Tennis Champion) to name a few.

If you want to be a leader, you need to learn to speak like a leader. Capitol Toastmasters is here to help. Bring a friend or come alone you will be glad you did. We look forward to seeing you at future Toastmasters Meetings.
