Mission:
The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive
learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop
oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and
personal growth.
Toastmasters International (TI) is a
nonprofit
educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. Through its member clubs, like Capitol Toastmasters, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the art of speaking, listening, and thinking.
If you want to be a leader, you need to learn to speak like a leader. Capitol Toastmasters is here to help. Bring a friend or come alone and you will be glad you did. We look forward to seeing you at future meetings of the Capitol Club.
