Susan R. Brechbill , Maricopa County District 2

Brief Background History Susan R. Brechbill moved to Gilbert, Arizona in June 2002. Prior to that Susan resided in Ohio, Washington State, Nevada, California, and Virginia. Susan is currently the managing partner of Brechbill Consulting, LLC, an Arizona partnership she formed in 2002. In her work for the partnership, she consults with bidders and contractors who have or who are seeking contracts with the Federal Government. Her expertise is in the areas of federal law and regulation; procurement; and environment, safety, health, and quality assurance (ESH&QA). From 1968 until May 2002 she was employed by the U.S. Department of Energy in a number of successive responsible positions. Among her positions with the Department she has been: Director of Procurement, DOE San Francisco Operations Office (1978-1984); Chief Counsel, DOE Richland Operations Office (1994-1999); and Manager, DOE Ohio Field Office (1999-2002).
