CTOC facilitates citizen involvement in the decision making process for planning and construction of freeways, arterial streets and transit improvements that are funded by the Proposition 400 one-half cent sales tax in Maricopa County and in the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Regional Transportation Plan. |
CTOC is established by A.R.S. §28-6356 with authority independent of ADOT and the State Transportation Board. However, in accordance with A.R.S. §28-6357, ADOT does provide administrative support for the activities of CTOC including hosting the CTOC Web site. |
