US 95, Castle Dome Mine Road to La Paz County line pavement preservation

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is repairing the pavement on US 95 between Castle Dome Mine Road (milepost 54) and the La Paz County line (milepost 67). The work consists of removing the existing pavement surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete.

The project is located on US 95 within Yuma County.

Project Schedule

The project is scheduled to begin early fall 2024. The project is anticipated to take only a few months to complete. Schedules are subject to change because of weather and other unforeseen situations.  

What to Expect 

US 95 will be reduced to one lane only in the work zone. Alternating north- and southbound travel will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car. Work is scheduled to occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
