SR 87 at Kenworthy Road and SR 287 at Christensen Road

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project to improve pavement, add a right-hand turn lane on State Route 87, and a left-hand turn lane on SR 287. This project is located in Pinal County, within the city of Coolidge.

• Adding a right-hand turn lane on northbound SR 87
• Adding a left-hand turn lane on eastbound SR 287
• Repairing asphalt
• Installing a chip seal over the asphalt
• Completing new pavement markings

Project Schedule

Construction is scheduled to begin in late spring 2024 and is expected to take five months to complete. Please allow for extra time when traveling through the area.

What to Expect

More information will be available closer to the start of construction. ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures.
