Overview

Project Cost: $328,000

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project located within the Navajo Nation at the intersection of US 160 and State Route 98.  Work will be completed along US 160 from milepost 361-362, and along SR 98 between milepost 361 to the US 160 junction.

The proposed work consists of installing flashing signals and signs, rumble strips, and other related work.

The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2024.

What to Expect

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. The contractor also has the discretion to work Fridays as needed from 7 a.m. to noon. No work is anticipated on weekends or holidays.

US 160 and SR 98 will each be intermittently narrowed to one lane in the project area as crews complete the work. Onsite flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to plan for possible delays while the work is underway.
