US 60 Centennial Wash Bridge Replacement

Overview

Project Cost: $13,707,564.30

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project to remove and replace an existing bridge on US 60 with a new seven-span bridge in the community of Wenden (milepost 62). The project limits will extend approximately one-half mile east and west of the bridge on US 60.

The new Centennial Wash Bridge will be constructed next to the existing bridge, and new paved approaches will be constructed to tie the new bridge to the existing roadway.

Project Schedule

Construction is scheduled to begin late spring 2024 and be completed in early 2025.
Schedules are subject to change because of weather and other unforeseen situations.

What To Expect

Work is scheduled to occur weekdays from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., although some night and weekend work may be needed. Drivers will continue using the existing bridge while construction on the new bridge is underway. Intermittent lane restrictions will be needed for construction vehicles and equipment to access the work site.
